This depends on which BrüMate you have! If you already have a BrüMate, check the bottom to see if it is dishwasher safe. 

If you are shopping for a new BrüMate, our website will show a symbol on the product page for all dishwasher safe products and finishes.

If the BrüMate says it’s dishwasher safe, it's good to put it on the top rack. Lids, gaskets, and straws are always dishwasher safe on the top rack. We also recommend turning off any heat-dry or hot water settings.

If your BrüMate says 'Hand Wash Only'  follow the instructions below.

To clean your BrüMate by hand, please remove all accessories (lids, gaskets, etc). Hand wash your BrüMate with a soft cloth or brush and a gentle dish soap*, then air dry. 

You may put your lid and gasket in the dishwasher on the top rack, however, we recommend turning OFF your heat-dry and hot water settings.

Note: The components of the lid are not removable.

*To avoid any damage to your BrüMate, we recommend avoiding the use of citrus or bleach-based cleaners.

1. Fill your BrüMate with hot water, and toss in one VooBrü SuperNatural Cleaning Tablet.

2. Let the concoction stand for 30 minutes

3. Empty your BrüMate and rinse with warm water

And that's it! For tougher stains, we recommend letting the concoction sit overnight and using a brush to assist in cleaning.

Please do not put your BrüMate in the freezer! Putting our products in the freezer can ruin them and voids the warranty.

Additionally, you do not need to put your BrüMate in the refrigerator. Our triple-insulated products were designed to keep your beverage from being affected by outside conditions. This means if you put them in the fridge, it will not change the temperature of the liquid.

We recommend chilling your beverage to the desired temperature before using your BrüMate!
